What is the Cloud?

Unlike traditional hosting, cloud-based hosting means every virtual server is self-healing: if any hardware fails, that server will fall out of the cloud and your site will come back online within seconds on new hardware. Automatically.

VPS systems or virtual private servers are made up of one or more nodes. Each node provides 376MB RAM, 10GB SAN storage, 600MHz dedicated CPU and 1TB/month bandwidth. Discounts apply when buying multiple nodes, so the more you need, the more you can save.

Faster Disks

Our Cloud Storage Units are powered by 48 drives in RAID10 and then replicated real time via Multipath I/O to give you a total of 96 drives of full redundancy. You can choose Snapshot, Rsync and R1Soft backups to integrate with your server setup.

Options Available

Snapshot Backups

You receive four slots of backups stored on-site. Blue Sky Creative will snapshot your VPS once per day, as well as weekly and monthly as well as allow for one individual backup on demand. These backups are not guaranteed. We highly advise you use other backup methods as well.

Rysync Backups

You receive Off-site backup space for use with Rsync, Duplicity or other backup scripts. You will receive the amount of GB you have purchased with your VPS in backup space. With Rsync, you can restore individual files.

R1soft Backups

R1Soft provides Continuous Data Protection through a user friendly interface. R1Soft backup requires you purchase one agent per server and build a VPS to store your backups (on or offsite).

Server Density ~ Easy Server Monitoring

Monitor CPU load, memory, processes, disk usage, network traffic, Apache & Nginx status. Keep an eye on your servers and get e-mail & iPhone alerts if things go wrong.

Auto Scaling

Blue Sky Creative and Server Density continually analyses your data so you can quickly discover events such as a spike of traffic or a log file growing too large. Blue Sky Creative can then initiate a upgrade of your server, so within 30 seconds your server will be back online with enough nodes to continue to drive your website or application. This feature is provided at no extra cost. All you need is ServerDensity.

Cpanel

All our cloud hosting packages come with cPanel (if you want it) – fully featured. You get the benefits of the cloud's scalability with the flexibility of cPanel. One click installs, FTP, SSH, everything you need.

Important: cPanel and WHM cannot be installed on a production web server; you must use a server with a freshly installed operating system.

It is important to consider how many sites you plan to host with your web server. For example, if your server is going to host a lot of websites, each with its own set of email addresses and databases, you will need more than nodes then if you wish to only host one or two sites.

cPanel recommends a minimum of 266Mhz and 512MB of RAM, so a one node server should serve as a final minimum. Please note this must be installed on a freshly installed CentOS or CloudLinux server, Blue Sky Creative provides images with cPanel already installed.

ISP Manager

Once you receive confirmation that your license is set, ssh to your server and execute the following commands

wget "http://download.ispsystem.com/install.sh" sh install.sh

If during the install you get this message "system needs reboot - reason selinux is disabled on this server", and the server reboots, please re-initiate the install process after the reboot, ISPmanager Pro is not yet installed by then.

The install script is virtually hands-free, so just sit back and wait until it's done, after that you can login to the Admin interface by visiting https://your.ip.number/manager/, username: root, password: your root password
